THE NUMBER OF STONES PER POUND IS BASED ON THE AVERAGE NUMBER FOR ALL STONE TYPES. YOUR POUND WILL VARY BY STONE TYPE, HOW THE STONES WERE CRUSHED, AND VARIOUS OTHER FACTORS. TYPICAL EXPECTED LESS STONES IN YOUR POUND THAN THE AVERAGE TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.
Small is 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch approximate stones per pound is 180 - 250 per pound.
Medium is about 3/4 inch and approximate stones per pound is 80 to 100 per pound.
